Date                                       -               23rd June CY13

Location                                                -               Maddison Heights

Forces required                     -               Infantry with armour and artillery support.

Mission outline                     -               A food convoy moving from Jefferson City towards Jackson City encountered a heavily defended road block to the East of Maddison Heights. Thankfully, the convoy escort had effective reconnaissance and detected the roadblock before the convoy was ambushed. Although the recce unit suffered heavy casualties, the convoy was able to withdraw to Maddison Heights with no losses.

Although the convoy in itself is not important, the road is vital, especially since the bridge linking Jersey City and Jackson City was destroyed.

The roadblock is situated in a mountain pass in difficult terrain and will need experienced commanders to secure it and clear it. From the reports submitted by the recce commander, the road is completely blocked by a large amount of debris that appears to have been displaced from the mountains to each side. There does not appear to be any way through.

Losses inflicted on the recce units were by long range vehicle fire.
