Mission outline                     -               The volatile situation in the colony has left a major doubt over the long term future of the mining operations on Coopers World. Since the whole economy is based on the sale of the minerals pulled out of the ground, this threatens the whole future of the colony.

Therefore, survey teams are being sent to the largest continent on the planet to find a new source of minerals to mine. It is hoped that we can find a location either free of Sardarken or more defendable than the current mines.

Mission requirements          -               The mission requires a unit to go in in advance of the survey teams to scout each area selected by the teams. The unit will secure the area and protect the teams whilst they carry out their tasks. The survey team will be based at Jefferson Starport and use a lander to move to each site. The units attached to the survey teams will spend most of their time scouting the survey zones. This is a long term mission and the TUs assigned will be unavailable for the duration.

The CMC have ordered four Assault Landers for the mission. 1 of these will be used by the survey team. The other three are available for mercenary use and will be sold again post the mission unless the mercenaries are willing to fund half the cost of outright purchase. This will be 3000Cr each.

If not purchased, the landers will be piloted by government forces and will only be used to land and recover forces.

If purchased, the landers will become part of the mercenary forces.

Mission reimbursement      -               The Coopers World Military Finance Division are offering a basic contract price of 12000Cr for this mission.

Mercenaries interested in the contract should submit their responses plus the forces they will be committing to the mission to the usual place by the end of the week.
