Mission outline - Rebuilding the river bridge.
The Colony Government are looking to repair some of the infrastructure destroyed in the Jackson City campaign. Repairs to the city have already started so the next project is to repair the bridge spanning the river on the Jersey City – Jackson City road. This is vital as it will open up another route into the city and make it less vulnerable.
The Government are looking to secure the long term future of what is quite an isolated bridge by building a firebase at each end. This contract will be to cover the construction crew and equipment whilst these two firebases are being constructed. This should be about 3 weeks.
Mission requirements - The mission requires a force to be on-site at the bridge day and night for three weeks until both fire bases are completed and manned. The force should be able to cover both ends of the 120 metre long bridge at all times to ensure Sardarken forces cannot destroy the facilities before they are completed.
This big issue is that the bridge is still down and will take 2 months to repair once the construction crews can be given the safety afforded by the two firebases. Therefore, the mercenaries will need to set up a temporary base of operations on each side of the river to ensure both firebases are covered.
Mission reimbursement - The Coopers World Military Finance Division are offering a basic contract price of 14000Cr for this mission.
Standard kill bonuses will be awarded.
Mercenaries interested in the contract should submit their responses plus the forces they will be committing to the mission to the usual place by the end of the week.
Please note that due to the operating conditions of this mission, the maintenance costs for the entire mission will be 30% of the cost of the forces committed.
