DBMM at Rampage

The competition will take place on Sunday 27th June in Dagenham – so a 1 dayer

and consist of 3 games using DBMM200 rules – armies not to exceed 240AP
Scale 15mm – games will last 2hrs 20mins + random time up to 12 minutes – Games
will stop when time called – and then any combats are carried out.
If DBMM v2.0 has not been published by June 7th then the latest draft as of that
date will be used.

Individual comp is 3 for a victory 1 for a draw 0 for a defeat - in event of a
tie after the 3 games - most wins determines, then total 25-0 score as per the
rules. A victory is defeating more than half the opponents army.

Intention is to encourage fast play and quick decisive games. This also counts
towards the Formula 1 Grand prix see http://mkws.org.uk/index.php?id=81 so form
into teams of 3 as well (here scoring will be as normal) - if you havent a team
dont worry we will sort something out. This is also a BHGS ranking tournament.
Army lists are themed around "He is my god, NO hes MY god" and must be drawn
from Books 1, 2 and 3 and if not published prior to June 7th - the qualifying
draft for Book 4.

Lists must therefore also utilise an element that has religious significance to
some part of the army.

This is a bit of fun so dont get too anal ytical ?

Please clearly identify the religious element (and any backing documentation if
necessary) on your list.

Competition Rules

Entries required by the 12^th June 2010.

• Players must supply their own terrain pieces, which must be to an acceptable standard. Additionally all figures must be representative and must be painted and based to an acceptable standard. Umpires will have the discretion to remove unsightly or unrepresentative items.

• Players must be present and ready to start all matches at the appointed time. Where a player has a reasonable excuse for arriving late the match start will be delayed by up to 30 minutes. After which time the effected player will be awarded a bye and maximum points. No player will be awarded more than one bye for any reason.

• If a player resigns from a game at any stage after the first set up dice have been rolled their opponents will be awarded maximum points.

• Where possible players may not play against fellow club/Team players in the first 1st round, nor players whom they have played in earlier rounds, These event counts towards the BHGS National Rankings

• A trophy will be awarded to the 1st, 2nd & 3rd placed players. Awards will also be made to the highest placed Junior and Female players.

• The Entry fee for  ONE day competitions is £7.50 per player (includes ONE £1.50 voucher that can be used as part or total payment for refreshments purchased at the in house canteen).  The Entry fee for TWO day competitions is £ 15.00 per player (includes TWO £1.50 vouchers that can be used as part or total payment for refreshments purchased at the in house canteen). Entry can only be made by sending payment. No pre booking by e-mail or other means is allowed. Cheques made payable to  “ILFORD WARGAMES CLUB”.  £ 1.00 discount per entrant on 1 day competition entries received before 12^th May 2010 and £ 2.00 discount per entrant on 2 day competitions received before 12^th May 2010.

• Admission to the tournament is at the sole discretion of the organisers and their decision on all matters is final. An application to enter denotes acceptance of the event rules. Entry fees to be addressed to  Rampage 2010, 41,The Cherry Orchard, Hadlow, Tonbridge, Kent, TN110HU and any queries E-mail  Peter_1013@hotmail.com .             All correspondence must enclose a stamped addressed envelope, and Players who indicate an e-mail address will receive details via e-mail.
